Himalayan Journey, creating felt, designing,importing and supporting a fair trade working enviroment.
Himalayan Journey started 6 years ago with Lobsang and his wife Miranda wanting to import Himalayan products, supporting the Himalayan peolpe and trying to help them in a productive way.
We found felt to be the most new and exciting product to have come out of Nepal, and soon to find out our customers felt the same.
This is a fantastic product, it not only has so many uses, its is a great way to help support the poor Nepalese woman, by providing them with a much needed job and income.
Our products cant help but make you feel happy, with the most amazing colors, and a great sense of humour! from bags to brooches, kids toys, scarfs, slippers and felt ball rugs, our product range is endless and keeps on growing! Our products are made with 100% Australian wool, so they are a fantastic, pure and natural product, great for kids and its so good to ditch the plastic toys, and get back to basics!
Himalayan Journey also supports a local school in Tibet, this is a very poor village school, perched high on top of a mountain in the region of AMDO. Last year Himalayan Journey purchaed all the scool childrens uniforms, books, bags and pencils, and we will continue to help support the poor local Tibetan communites.
